November 2014 – Green Fins Philippines – Malapascua GF Ambassador Programme

Reef-World is proud to announce the formation of the latest Green Fins Ambassador group in Malapascua. First launched in Puerto Galera in 2012, the Ambassador Programme provides carefully selected dive guides with additional training in marine biology and ecology, environmental dive briefings and correction of customer damaging behavior underwater. These guides are in the prime position to champion sustainable diving practices amongst their peers, and to champion local environmental activities in their communities.
Building on the success of the programme in both Puerto Galera and Moalboal, we welcome six (6) new guides into the team. Introducing Gino Pelayo, Rissa May Arriesgado, Ronel Pepito, Leo Tuilo, Gibb Bacaltos and Ted Arrofo. Congratulations to all of you and we look forward to supporting your hard work in the future!
